| Whereas, the Trns.port Users Group wishes to develop a system of communication in which the users can share information easily amongst themselves, the Trns.port Task Force and with the software contractors. The Trns.port Users Group feels that a Listserve will provide this functionality. List servers have been used on the internet for years to share ideas, discuss issues and announce events. A listserve allows a subscriber to easily send identical mail messages to all the members of a list simply by sending one message to the list server address. |
